SportsCycle & SFUSD
More opportunities to play. More students in the game.
SportsCycle is working with Spark SF Public Schools and the San Francisco Unified School District’s Athletic Department to help expand equitable access to sports equipment and opportunities for students.
After surveying equipment needs across the district, SportsCycleSF is partnering with the Athletic Department to replenish high-turnover sports gear such as tennis, golf, and softball. These are used and replaced throughout the school year, so it can benefit students across SFUSD schools rather than only a few campuses.

The department recommends sports with high equipment turnover, including:
- Golf
- Tennis
- Softball
Taking the conversation to the sidelines
The Athletic Department has proposed an informational table at a championship event, where SportsCycle can share its mission with students and families. SportsCycleSF will also be featured in its newsletter to highlight its commitment to making sports more accessible. Event details and the interview are forthcoming.
